    How do I get to the venue?

    What is the closest train station to Manchester Central?

    Manchester Central is a 5-minute walk away from Manchester Oxford Road and a 20-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station. Piccadilly Station is also just a 5-minute taxi drive away.
    The journey times to Manchester from major stations in the UK are as below:

    Cardiff Central to Manchester Piccadilly – 3 hours 30 minutes

    Does it cost for me to register as a visitor to the event?

    This is a free to attend event for those working in the public sector.

    Will I be able to print off my visitor badge at the venue?

    We have PC screen terminals for you to print off your badge at the registration counter. You will need to enter in your details and our system will be able to recognise these details if you pre-registered with us.

    Are all the sessions in the theatres free-to-attend?

    Yes, all the sessions across the five theatres are free- to- attend, though places are limited. Therefore, we strongly advise that you arrive at least 10 minutes before the session is due to begin, to help ensure that you get a seat in the theatre and avoid disappointment.

    How do I obtain a badge if I work in the private sector?

    The event is free-to-attend for sub-contractors operating in the public sector. However, suppliers to the public sector and other private sector organisations are required to pay £299 + VAT to attend, which includes full access to all content.
    Please fill complete the online registration form. Once your registration is complete, you will receive an email informing you that a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided within the next 48 hours if your application has been successful or upon completion of payment.

    Can I bring my child with me to the Public Sector Solutions Expo Manchester 2018?

    We do not allow anyone under the age of 18 into the exhibition halls.

    Will there be WiFi available inside the exhibition halls?

    Free Wi-Fi is available inside the exhibition hall via an easy to use, quick log-in page. The WI-FI name is MCCC.

    How do I navigate my way around the exhibition?

    We have a floorplan available in the Public Sector Show Solutions Expo official event guide to help you navigate your way around the exhibition. There will also be ‘You are Here’ boards distributed around the halls, or a member of staff will be happy to help you.

    From what time can I enter the exhibition halls during build-up?

    Space only exhibitors will be able to enter the halls from 08:00 – 20:00 on 19th November 2018
    Shell scheme exhibitors will be able to enter the halls from 14:00 – 20:00 on 19th November 2018
    Access for Deliveries only will be from 14:00 – 20:00 on 19th November 2018

    From what time can I enter the exhibition hall on the opening morning?

    Exhibitors will be able to enter the halls from 08:00 on 20th November 2018.

    How do I access the Exhibitor Portal and Manual?

    To access the Exhibitor Portal, go to the website homepage and click on ‘Exhibitor Portal’ under the ‘Exhibit’ menu, and then enter your login details. If you have not received these details, then please email [email protected]
    You will find the Exhibitor Manual within the Exhibitor Portal, and this contains important deadlines dates and order forms, which will ONLY be available to main stand holders who have signed and returned their contact. It is very important that you grant access to the individual(s) responsible for managing your participation. Your unique access details can only be issued to agents and/or contractors on receipt of written authority from you.

    Is there WiFi available inside the hall?

    Yes, but it is highly recommended that you order a hard wire internet connection for your stand via the Exhibitor Manual, as the free WiFi is public and only strong enough to send and receive emails.

    Is there a cloakroom available?

    Yes, there are several cloakrooms located throughout the venue.

    I have a question about my exhibitor badge, who do I contact?

    Deliveries & Collections

    You must be onsite to sign for courier deliveries to your stand – the venue or organisers will NOT sign for these on your behalf and you risk having your delivery turned away.
    We have an onsite storage supplier GES who offer a lifting and storage service at a charge. For more information please contact: [email protected].

    You will also not be able to deliver any items in advance of the event.
    Deliveries to the venue can only be made between:
    14:00 – 20:00 on Monday 19th November 2018
    All packages must be labelled correctly to ensure they are delivered to the correct hall and stand.
    Delivery and Collection address labels are available in the online Exhibitor Manual (please refer to point 3 above).
