Jayne joined Leicestershire County Council at the beginning of 2018, bringing significant private sector experience. Her fresh perspectives come from heavy-weight roles in high pace environments such as WPP and Capgemini.
Jayne was appointed as the council’s first CDIO, with a strong mandate to innovate, increase the pace of change and create a more agile function.
She has made an immediate impact, launching a programme of innovation to the council’s elected members. Her approach is loosely based on skunkworks and she’s driving short, sharp pilots with ideas welcomed from all areas of the business and the outside world.
