Strategic Markets Manager
Kim Larter is a Strategic Markets Manager at YPO (Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation). Whilst relatively new to YPO Kim is not new to Procurement, having spent the last 14 years working in the fascinating arena of Public Sector Procurement.
As a procurement professional Kim is passionate about the power good procurement can deliver within the Public Sector. Her professional background has involved working in University, Local Borough Council, Housing Association and Emergency Services procurement environments. All challenging in their own right, but all share the common goal of ensuring that public money is spent wisely achieving best value.
Kim believes that collaboration is a key component to public sector organisations sharing knowledge, experience and resource to obtain best value and she has extensive experience of working across various sectors, particularly within Emergency Services.
Procurement is an ever-changing landscape and being part of a team that can deliver social value and benefits to communities is a hugely rewarding element of Kim’s professional career. She is very proud that she is able to be a real contributor to delivering real social value, value for money, fit for purpose and innovative procurement solutions, making a real difference.
